Treating Cancer / Maury Island UFO Incident

About the show

First Half: Dr. Jeffrey Long specializes in radiation oncology, using radiation to treat cancer. As a scientist, Jeff founded NDERF in 1998. He wanted to know if near-death experiences were real by directly asking the NDErs themselves. Dr. Long joins Connie Willis (info) to discuss the history, present, and future of treating cancer.

Second Half: Steve Edmiston talks about his award-winning film based on declassified FBI documents, ‘"The Maury Island Incident," which tells the incredible, tragic, and forgotten story of Harold Dahl, who on June 21, 1947, alleged a UFO sighting over Puget Sound, WA, sparking ‘the summer of the saucers,’ the modern era of UFO obsession, the first appearance of ‘Men in Black’ and a governmental battle over UFO sighting jurisdiction.

6-10m PT: Art Bell - Somewhere in Time returns to 4/13/98 when author Ted Wright talked about survivalism.
