Kilgallen & JFK/ Miracle Tales

About the show

Investigative reporter and author Mark Shaw discussed new developments in the mysterious death of reporter and TV star, Dorothy Kilgallen, who was found dead from an alleged overdose after researching the JFK assassination. Kilgallen was a reporter of renown who in addition to covering the Jack Ruby trial, also reported on the Dr. Sam Shepherd murder case, the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, and Lenny Bruce's court case. In one unpublished article about the Ruby trial, she observed how nervous he seemed, and how quizzical it was that this Texas nightclub owner ended up killing Oswald. There's testimony in the trial, Shaw revealed, indicating that when Ruby entered the basement of the Dallas police headquarters, he knew ahead of time that Oswald would be transferred there.

Kigallen's "accidental" death from barbiturates was staged, Shaw asserted, and there was no medical investigation at the time. Further, none of her friends, family, or colleagues spoke out to suggest that her death might have been foul play. He believes that many of them were suspicious, but fearful for their safety, as they suspected that the people behind Dorothy's death were connected to whoever killed JFK. He also detailed the feud between Kigallen and Frank Sinatra, who was angered at her for a critical column she wrote about him, and quipped during one of his live stage shows, "if you run into Dorothy, make sure it's in a car."

Longtime morning drive radio host in Cleveland, Ohio, Trapper Jack, has for over 18 years been compiling stories of amazing synchronicities and coincidences which defy logic and statistics. In the latter half, he shared some of these stories, which include real-life accounts of what appear to be angelic interventions, healings, and miracles. Trapper became interested in this type of material after interviewing psychic Mary Ann Winkowski, as well as working with a Cleveland "faith healer" named Dr. Issam Nemeh, who helped him with his battle with retinitis pigmentosa, a condition that causes blindness. Trapper and Nemeh teamed up for a podcast for four years.

Two teenage sisters were in a severe car accident-- one was in a coma, the other had little or no brain activity, Trapper recounted. Just before the family was about to make a decision about organ donation, Dr. Nemeh's wife Kathy arrived at the hospital and conducted an immediate prayer session with Dr. Nemeh on the phone. Almost immediately, one sister came out of her coma, and the other suddenly became responsive. Both sisters eventually recovered and left the hospital. Trapper also talked about his fascination with NDE cases, including his interview with Howard Storm, an avowed atheist who had an attack from hell in his near-death state and subsequently became a minister.
