Meaning, Insight, & Communication

About the show

A doctor of Psychology and Metaphysics, Eldon Taylor discussed his new book What Does That Mean?, and shared revelations from his own life that caused him to ponder the nature of existence. He also spoke about his work with subliminal communication and reverse speech.

As suggested to him by a C2C listener, he investigated babbling speech uttered by Alzheimer's patients and found that by reversing recordings of it, there were sometimes meaningful messages. One theory posits that Alzheimer's patients may be in communication with the dead, and interestingly some EVPs came through on a number of their recordings, he noted.

He shared a bizarre incident that occurred to him as a teenager, when his car got stuck on a train track and was hit by a speeding train. Though his passenger had to be removed from the vehicle by the "Jaws of Life," Taylor found himself yards from the accident and uninjured. He speculated that some inexplicable force pulled him to safety. Later, his mother said that he'd changed, and wondered if he was a walk-in.

Taylor also related several stories involving different animals, in which he was moved by the depth of their feeling, and this led him to reevaluate his views on their consciousness.
