During the first half of the show, George Noory welcomed author David J. Moore for a discussion on his book, Evolutionary Metaphors: UFOs, New Existentialism and the Future Paradigm. In it Moore explores the esoteric aspects of UFO phenomena, and how UFO and other anomalous experiences can lead to positive transformation and meaning in life for experiencers.
Moore shared his own UFO encounter from 2008, when he and a group of friends were in a forest near the village Kingswinford in England. "I noticed on the horizon a contracted point of light... it was just constantly coming toward us," he said. According to Moore, there was something eerie about the light which he described as an "amorphous shape of luminescence." As the light flew overhead it turned red, he recalled, noting it was large and moving at a slow walking pace across the sky.
Moore described his UFO encounter as a symbolic event in his life. The experience breaks consensus reality causing one to ask more questions and accept a deeper level of reality, he explained. Moore talked about how he integrated his encounter in a positive way, and argued for the integration of our minds towards anomalous phenomena and a deepening of consciousness. He also revealed how the occult is useful as a way to examine the symbolism in crop circles and the theatrical nature of the abduction phenomenon.

The latter half of the program featured Open Lines. Scotty in Tennessee told George about health complications that eventually led him to get an MRI. According to Scotty, while he was in the MRI machine something inside him began to burn which X-rays later revealed was an apparatus left behind from a previous surgery. Scotty has experienced some strange occurences since he felt the burning sensation, including sleep-writing a prediction about his wife's cousin's death two years before it happened, as well as an increase in IQ of 40 points.
Margot from Portland, Maine shared a theory about Jack the Ripper being Sherlock Holmes author Arthur Conan Doyle, who she suggested had multiple personalities. "One of his personalities was also serial killer H.H. Holmes in Chicago," she said. Wayne in Tacoma, Washington, spoke about the phenomena of UFOs, ghosts, demons, and how they are tied together. According to Wayne, humans are in a spiritual battle for their eternal souls, UFOs have evil intentions toward humanity, and powerful demons are in control of certain regions of the world.
The final half-hour was a replay from 10/17/17 featuring Cinema Insomnia's Mr. Lobo.
