Insect Die-Offs, MK-ULTRA, & Secret Space Programs

About the show

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed the startling loss of insect life in the Americas, along with updates on secret space programs, astronaut whistleblowers, and MK-ULTRA mind control efforts. Insects, she reported, are in a crisis around the world, dying out in huge, shocking numbers. A new report in the October 15, 2018, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences reveals that even in a pristine national forest in Puerto Rico, there has been a devastating loss of insect life. She interviewed David Wagner, Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the Univ. of Connecticut, who cited how we are going through the sixth great extinction, and with climate change and increased droughts, we'll see a major reduction in biodiversity.

In her second segment, Linda shared updates related to her report from last month on "secret astronaut" Jon Lavine. In her subsequent reality check efforts on many of Lavine's claims, she discovered a number of fabrications. But in the face of contradictory facts, Lavine continued to insist his secret astronaut story was real, she noted. It's possible, she concluded, that the CIA "memory wipes" he claimed to have undergone, may have altered his accuracy or implanted him with false memories. She spoke with John Greenewald, producer of The Black Vault, who detailed FOIA archives that describe how the CIA and MK-ULTRA had methods as far back as the 1950s to induce selective amnesia and insert false memories on personnel working on specific classified missions.

In her last report, Linda interviewed UK engineer and inventor Winston Keech who provided information about a secret astronaut program known as MOL (Manned Orbiting Laboratory) and 'Keyhole' projects that yielded the technology that was developed into the Hubble space telescope, though it was originally developed for Cold War spying. Keech revealed that original Apollo 15 images show a spindle-shaped, long "craft" lying in a crater on the moon and that this was the source of NASA's determination to have a lunar mission that would investigate the object.

Economy & Current Events Commentary

First-hour guest, former ABC investigative correspondent Greg Hunter offered commentary on the economy and current events. The two biggest problems in the world, he suggested, are enormous debt and enormous fraud. Globally, the debt has increased by 100 trillion since the 2008 crisis, he pointed out, while fraud is off-the-charts in the economy, Internet metrics are often faked, and $21 trillion disappeared or is unaccountable from the US government coffers. He also warned that Deutsche Bank stock is falling and if the bank fails it could have cascading effects on the general economy.
