In the first half, author and expert on the paranormal, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, discussed the nature of angels and angelic encounters and interventions. Speaking of her own experiences with angels, she characterized them as beings of tremendous spiritual vibration, energy, and light, "which literally overwhelms the senses," and leaves one with a belief in the power of the divine. Some think of angels as enforcing God's will-- they can be sent to reward or discipline us, and we find these kinds of stories in the Bible, she pointed out. On a higher level, angels are concerned with spiritual ethics, morals, and the maintenance of harmony and unconditional love in the universe, she detailed.
In the phenomenon of the "mysterious stranger," angels help people out in a crisis situation, under the guise of a human being. "The people who are in trouble really think they're being helped by a human being, but they realize later, there was something very unearthly about that helper and it had to have been an angel," she explained, adding that she thinks angels are around us all the time in human guise to monitor situations and be available to assist people when they are called upon.
Angels can appear as radiant beings, or pillars of light, and may communicate with individuals during the dream state, she reported. Sometimes angels have identified themselves, and have given names, and in other cases people have intuited their names. Their names carry a spiritual vibration, and express an essence of who they are, she said. In spiritual and occult practice, you really have to have the name of the spiritual being in order to have a rapport with them, Guiley noted.

Unlike every other day of the year, Christmas Eve is the one time that the tables turn and Santa himself is the one being watched.
Check out the progress of Santa and his reindeer as they journey across the globe via the Official NORAD Santa Tracker-- a tradition that has been running for over 50 years.
And if you really want to keep a close eye on Saint Nick, you can also deploy the Google Santa Tracker as well.
Now, all we need is a live cam from the workshop on the North Pole, because we can only imagine what kind of hijinks those elves will be up to while Santa is off making deliveries.
