During Open Lines, George offered a 'Deal with the Devil' hotline. Ginger from Manhattan Beach, CA informed George that she would gladly give her soul to Satan if she could be granted the power to bring closure to families of kidnapped children. Will in Texas said he definitely would not cut a deal with the Prince of Darkness because "the Devil owns nothing... he can give me nothing." Scott from San Diego shared his dramatic encounter with Lucifer, who appeared to him as a bush at a strip mall and told him, "If you bow down and worship me, I'll give you the world for a thousand years. But if not, I'm going to strike you down dead." Scott claims the voice of a child, who he identified as Jesus, also spoke and led him to God.
Other interesting calls came in over the course of the evening. David in Bakersfield, CA phoned in to tell George about the Underground Gardens in Fresno, built by Italian immigrant Baldasare Forestiere around the turn of the century. Jesse from California talked about the missing 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would have prohibited Americans from holding Titles of Nobility. Michael in Kentucky recalled a frightening 1971 sailing trip in the Bermuda Triangle, where what he described as a "light pale mint green" fog engulfed the vessel. The final half hour featured George's November 16, 2007 interview with Lost in Space actors Bill Mumy and Angela Cartwright.
Lost Flight over Bermuda Triangle
In the first hour, author and investigator T.C. (Tim) Geary spoke about his quest to uncover what happened to his uncle and 15 other US Servicemen when their B-29 was lost over the Bermuda Triangle on January 8, 1945. Geary said a group of 12 aircraft, including his uncle's, were on their way to Puerto Rico for island flight training when they encountered a storm. Eleven made it through, but his uncle's flight was never seen or heard from again, he noted. Geary suspects the plane's disappearance is related to the mysterious nature of the Bermuda Triangle. He also shared some of his own strange experiences in the Triangle, which include witnessing inexplicable compass behavior as well as sailing around in circles despite holding to a single course.
