Comic Book Legend, Stan Lee

About the show

Filling in for George, Ian Punnett welcomed first hour guest, legendary comic artist Stan Lee, who discussed his extensive career and the famous characters he helped create, as well as the future of comic books, recent superhero movies, and his new company -- POW! Entertainment. His new DVD project is Stan Lee Presents: Mosaic.

The Mysterious Death of Randy Morgenson

In the second hour, adventurer and author Eric Blehm talked about his book The Last Season, which details the life and death of legendary ranger Randy Morgenson. Morgenson, who worked as a backcountry ranger in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, disappeared under mysterious circumstances in July 21, 1996. Blehm shared several possibilities about what fate Morgenson met in the wilderness that day, including accidental/natural death, murder, or suicide. According to Blehm, Morgenson's remains were found five years later in a crack at the bottom of a small waterfall.

Ian hosted Open Lines during the final two hours of the program, with a special emphasis on premonitions of death that have come true.
