Pet Ghosts & 'Phantimals'

About the show

Joshua P. Warren, the President of L.E.M.U.R. Paranormal Investigations returned for a discussion of pet ghosts, 'phantimals,' and his latest research methods. A new device called the Paranormal PC has impressed Warren, with its ability to monitor seven different fields of data simultaneously, and upload the information directly to the Internet.

Warren became interested in the subject of pet ghosts when he heard whimpering, barking and toenails scampering-- all sounds associated with his deceased miniature dachshund, Nellie. His fiance mentioned hearing the sounds as well. Later, he was able to document energy fields that were suited to the dimensions of the dog. Pets typically come back because they might be lost in the spirit realm and thus seek out the familiar relationship they had with their owner, Warren said. But eventually they move on (usually within a week to a month), once they are not recognized or given attention. Conversely, he added, a person could attempt contact with their deceased pet by leaving out food or toys, and behaving as if they are still alive.

"Phantimals" is a term Warren coined for paranormal creatures who seem more animal than human. They might exist in a realm beyond our own yet be capable of slipping in and out of our reality. Among the examples he listed were Hellhounds, Mothman and Bigfoot.

Iran's Nuclear Threat

First hour guest, author Jerome Corsi commented that Iran is on the fast track to becoming a nuclear threat. He recommended people check out the Middle East Research Institute (memri.org) which offers translations of Arabic material, such as speeches given by Iran's President Ahmadinejad.
