During a special (Almost) Full Moon Open Lines, George offered a 'fright' line for callers to share the scariest things that have ever happened to them. Damien recalled a terrifying encounter he had one night when his truck stalled out on White Mountain in South Dakota. According to Damien, he and a friend saw a beast with long greasy hair that stood over nine feet tall and "smelled like death." The creature grabbed the back of his truck, Damien explained, prompting the two men to begin shooting at it. Damien claims his friend shot the monster in the head, but it was still able to chase after them when they got the truck restarted.
Self-proclaimed 'Devil Channeller' Demitri phoned into the program to inform George that Satan was angry with him because he "rejected his [Lucifer's] important message to the world." George wisely terminated the call. Sandra, a professional astrologer, medium and empath from Ohio, shared a story about a confrontation she had with another medium who tried to pass on a "negative spirit entity" that ended up possessing her cat.
Keith from Pittsburg recalled the time in the 1960s when he worked at a cemetery and pranked some schoolmates who liked to party in the graveyard. A trucker in Tucson, Arizona described a horrifying experience he had when two black hands with glowing bones reached up from under the top bunk in his cab and grabbed his head. John in Albany remembered seeing the spirit of an old lady in his parents' house. He said several other relatives have also witnessed strange happenings in that house.
Haunted Dibbuk Box
In the program's first hour, a museum director known only as "Anonymous" recounted the history of the Dibbuk Box, a reportedly haunted antique wine cabinet that he currently owns. He said the unusual item was made by a holocaust survivor in order to trap a spirit she had summoned during a seance decades earlier.
The 16-inch tall box gives off a mysterious energy that can be felt near the top of it, he explained, and shows strange lights and haze effects when photographed with the doors open. It was also known to create an uneasy feeling in a previous owner, he added. He also announced that a famous Hollywood filmmaker is interested in making a movie about the Dibbuk Box.
