Inside Alien Autopsy

About the show

Robert Kiviat, who produced the 1995 Fox TV Special Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction?, discussed his involvement with the controversial footage and the latest twists and turns in the story. The material, purchased by Ray Santilli allegedly from an ex-military cameraman, came to Kiviat in three segments-- the most prominent being the well-lit autopsy footage. While Kiviat declared the footage to be fraudulent in his 1999 documentary World's Greatest Hoaxes, he explained that new details had recently emerged, timed with the release of the comic feature film Alien Autopsy.

Now Santilli is claiming that the film reels he bought from the cameraman had degenerated so thoroughly as to be unusable, so he "restored" the scenes with recreations by a special effects artist/sculptor. But in the new film there is an intriguing 45-second snippet that purports to be retrieved from the real footage, said Kiviat, who is putting together what might be the final word on the topic-- Alien Autopsy: True Story.

UFO videographer Jeff Willes joined in for a segment to discuss his work in capturing footage, some of which will be featured in an upcoming Kiviat TV documentary about UFOs. A metallic domed ship seen in daylight, which he shot in the Superstition Mountain area, was able make "a U-turn on a dime," said Willes, who believes such craft are ET in origin. Kiviat noted that there are several other people besides Willes who are contributing "mind-boggling" UFO footage.

Art Bell Update

"I'm pursuing happiness," said Art Bell who appeared during the first half-hour, with an update on his situation. He is leaving on Saturday for the Philippines, where he will take up residence with his new wife Airyn in a 19th floor condo in Manila (though he is not selling his US homes or KNYE). It is from there that he will broadcast his show on the weekends, where the local time will be 1-5 in the afternoon!

His cats Yeti and Abydos will be making the trip with him, he said, and he has found homes here in the States for Comet and Dusty. It's estimated that it will be several weeks before his weekend broadcast will be up and running from his new location. "Off I go, those dice are rolling," Art signed off.
