Numbers & You

About the show

Welcoming in 2005, the 'Numbers Lady,' Glynis McCants, returned to the show. A professional numerologist, she uses a system based on the "vibrations" or energy associated with the numbers 1-9, to analyze people, places and events. 2005 is a "7" (2+0+0+5 = 7) and this number is related to water which correlates with all the storms that we've been having, she said. The new year will also be about "spiritual warfare," she continued, with people asking 'what kind of difference can I make?'

Certain number combinations follow people around and could be sending a message, she noted. For instance, if you are often seeing 333 (a 9) this might be telling you it's time to get in touch with your family. She revealed that people who have a Lifepath number of "5" tend to be luckier than others, and are more likely to have gambling wins.

It's possible to alter the energy around your home and life by using numbers, McCants said. Here are some examples she gave:To bring a new love relationship into your life, place a number 2 on the inside of your bedroom door. To become more popular place a number 3 on the outside of your door. To bring more money into your wallet, put a number 8 in it.

Elvis Turns 70

Monday's first hour guest, author R. Gary Patterson joined the show to note Elvis Presley's would-be 70th birthday and to discuss the urban legends that he might still be alive. He also recounted cases of crazed fans who stalked music stars such as George Harrison and Bjork.
