Angels and the Undead

About the show

Researcher Glenn Kimball discuss various entities from the other side including angels, the undead, and the resurrected. Differentiating the three groups he said "the undead," were a rare breed that were born as humans but never died, the resurrected came back to life after death, and angels were never born as humans in the first place.

The prophet, priest and king known as Melchizedek was an example of the undead, Kimball said. Some evidence suggests that this being was actually Merlin the Magician, from King Arthur's day, he claimed. Further Kimball intimated that Melchizedek could still be alive, and may have paid him a crucial visit, just as he was about to toss out his manuscript about the hidden life of Jesus.

Kimball also discussed the prophetic visions of George Washington, who while in Valley Forge, was said to look up and see a being standing in front of his table. Washington recounted a "vision of three different conflicts," Kimball said, that included Africa with a "cloud over it," the American Civil War, and a last conflict that would entail the "light of a thousand suns," though the being told him "the republic would be preserved." Interestingly, Kimball mentioned that David Parry (a confidante of Washington) wrote that when George emerged from his tent, he said "the eleventh of September" is to be a "most dreadful and fearful day."

Tonight's guest Glenn Kimball will be discussing Melchizedek, whom he says was the first recorded person to be given the promise that he would have power over his death and not die (Hebrews 5: 4-10). Described as the King of Salem in the Bible, he was pictured giving Abraham bread and wine, in the famous painting by Rubens.

According to various sources, the name Melchizedek has represented different angelic identities over time. For instance, in the ancient Pseudo-Tertullian text, he was referred to as a "celestial virtue of great grace who does for heavenly angels...what Christ does for man." In the Dead Sea Scrolls, Melchizedek was said to act as God's agent, implementing the destruction of the angel Belial and his wicked brethren. And yet in another persona, informs the Dictionary of Angels, he was "the supernatural offspring of Noah's brother Nir...who becomes after the Flood, a great high-priest."
