Demon Possession

About the show

Both the demonically possessed and people who have helped to exorcise such demons phoned into the program, when George set up a special topic line this Friday night. "I was cursed by a witch," said Shirley from Phoenix, who said she has undergone around fifty exorcisms to rid her of the numerous demons that have plagued her. A caller named Tony said he had "the gift of discernment" (being able to recognize demonic spirits), and that he had assisted in two official Catholic Church exorcisms. In the most profound case, he said a woman was possessed by over 200 demonic entities, and they focused on making contact with the chief or captain of these demons.

Jimmy in San Francisco, told a poignant tale of his mother selling his soul for material wealth, and how he subsequently became possessed by a spirit he named Dalsheeah. He said the demon was an associate of Lucifer, the fallen angel, and likely also controlled other people. Jimmy described going into a kind of "fugue state" during his intermittent periods of possession. He would first hear the sound of rapid water and then become dissociated.

World Events

Bioterrorism expert Steve Quayle (stevequayle.com), appeared in the first hour of Friday's show to discuss current events. "The Russian nuclear war game is eclipsing all the other issues," he said, referring to a mock nuclear attack that the Russians were staging against the US and Britain. While he doesn't believe Russia is planning an actual attack, he is concerned over Russia's close relationship with North Korea. Quayle also discussed SARS and Mad Cow Disease.
