Ken Alibek, the author of Biohazard, was Barbara's guest on Saturday night. Alibek defected to the U.S. in 1992, after directing a bio-weapons research facility in the Soviet Union. He discussed his efforts to develop new forms of medical protection against biological weapons, his past experiences in the Soviet Union, and his thoughts about the current SARS epidemic.
