Gregory A. Smith M.D. is a physician specializing in the integrative treatment of addiction, and a movie producer. He is a graduate from Indiana University with a degree in both Chemistry and Biology. He went on to graduate from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at State Univ. of New York (SUNY) in Brooklyn New York. There he was elected chief resident and completed a fellowship in pain management. He is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Smith is the former Director of Pain Management at Harbor UCLA and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA. He went on to form Comprehensive Pain Relief Group inc. in 2001. GS Medical in 2004 and Pain MD Productions in 2011. He has published numerous research articles, published over 12 books, hosted 2 radio shows and has appeared as guest on multiple local and national radio and television shows. He was the Executive Producer of the film American Addict that is currently being represented by House of Film for worldwide distribution in 2013. He is currently in pre-production of his new feature film Cancer in Wonderland.
