Madeleine Pickens

Madeleine Pickens, wife of billionaire T. Boone Pickens is a philanthropist and life-long animal lover. She is currently in negotiations to purchase one million acres of land to turn into a wild horse sanctuary in order to protect the animals from potential slaughter by the Bureau of Land Management. She has appeared on numerous media outlets to promote her cause and was recently named ABC television's "Person of the Week" for her efforts.
