Biography:

Laurie Glenn Norris is a writer, researcher and art historian. Her articles and book reviews have appeared in the Quill & Quire and Atlantic Books Today. Her first book, Cumberland County Facts and Folklore, was published in 2009. Her second publication, Haunted Girl: Esther Cox and the Great Amherst Mystery, was a finalist for the 2013 Democracy 250 Atlantic Book Award for Historical Writing and, in 2015, was optioned for a feature film. Laurie is currently working on her first novel and preparing to edit and annotate the diary of a nineteenth-century New Brunswick woman. She is interested in women’s history, biography and historical fiction and non-fiction.
