Michel Barsoum

Biography:

Michel W. Barsoum is a Professor of materials engineering at Drexel University, in Philadelphia. He is a native of Egypt who graduated from American University in Cairo, received his Masters Degree in Ceramics Engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla Rolla and earned his PhD from MIT in Ceramics from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. The results of one of his most recent studies points to the use of concrete in some parts of the construction of the Great Pyramids of Giza.
