This breathtaking image, courtesy of the Hubble Telescope, reveals a distant galaxy which boasts a unique, rose-like appearance. Named simply PGC 6240, the floral phenomena is believed to be the result of two galaxies merging, since the newly-formed galaxy features stars of distinctly divergent ages.
