Cat Killings, Florida UFO, & Telepathic Brain Chips

About the show

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed her investigations into the 'Croydon Cat Killer' cases, the Sunspot Solar Observatory mystery, a Jacksonville, FL police officer's UFO sighting, and a new brain chip. Recently, UK media brandished headlines such as: "Croydon Cat Killer Mystery Solved By Police," but the explanation of wild animal attacks, she notes, makes no sense. Since 2015, there have been more than 500 cases of bloodless, precise excisions in mutilated cats, foxes and rabbits. Further, according to animal welfare citizen groups, highly strange forensic evidence on the mutilations cannot be explained by a deranged human individual or individuals. Linda spoke with Ian Halling, from one of the citizen groups, as well as Jane Galloway, the owner of a cat that was found bloodlessly beheaded. More info here.

Presenting an update on the 10-day closing of the Sunspot Solar Observatory, she found the explanation of a child porn investigation (related to one of the computers at the facility) somewhat odd. Linda interviewed Otero County Sheriff Benny House from Alamogordo, NM who said that the FBI kept his department out of the loop of the criminal investigation, and historian/author Peter Levenda, who pointed out that "child pornography files can be hidden on any computer by an outside agency to discredit a target...[and that] You don’t evacuate a building due to child pornography." Christina Aguayo, a reporter from ABC-TV's WVIA Channel 7 also spoke with Linda. Further details.

In her third segment, she talked to retired Nassau County, Florida, Police Officer John Eric Lowe, who has gone on the record about his UFO encounter 25 years ago in the town of Hilliard. As a helicopter pilot, he was quite familiar with known planes, and what he saw, a circular object lit like a white LED, made very odd zigzag movements that conventional aircraft cannot do. He paid careful attention to the Naval FLIR infrared videos released in the New York Times in December 2017 and related the movements to his sighting. Further info. Linda also talked to Patrick Tucker, a writer with, about breakthroughs in DARPA technology in which drone aircraft can be commanded by telepathic thought, via implants in the brain. Such technology could be moving humanity closer to merging with cyborgs. More here.

Mythology of the Coyote:

First-hour guest, historian Dan Flores talked about the mythology and history of the coyote from trickster to cartoon. Considered a type of wolf, the animal has a supernatural legacy as the oldest deity in North America possibly going back 10,000 years in Indian tradition. As a god figure to these ancient peoples, he said, the "old man/coyote" was thought to be responsible for creating the continent and setting in motion the factors that govern human life. He also talked about various portrayals of the coyote from Lewis and Clark accounts, a Mark Twain story, and the Disney cartoon character Wile E. Coyote.

News segment guests: Howard Bloom, John M. Curtis, Peter Davenport
