Intention Healing, NDEs & Open Lines

About the show

In the first hour, Adam the DreamHealer talked about the healing power of intention. According to Adam, not only does an individual's intentions effect his or her own immune system, but some studies suggest that the intentions of people who surround an individual also effect that person's health.

"Our intentions effect things far beyond our conscious awareness," Adam further explained, noting an experience from his own life when he had put out an intention to do his Ph.D work at a certain lab and received an unsolicited email from that lab the next morning. Adam also spoke about his work with Edgar Mitchell, who he helped heal from kidney cancer.

During the second hour, George was joined by hypnotherapist Dr. Bruce Goldberg, who discussed near-death experiences (NDEs) and commented on a new consciousness study called AWARE (AWAreness during REsuscitation - read more at MSNBC). Goldberg said that any purely medical explanations of consciousness "don't hold water."

Several documented cases have shown a correlation between the time a person has an NDE and the resuscitation process, he noted. In one case, a woman who was blind for more than 50 years was able to accurately recall the specific colors of the equipment used to bring her back from death. Goldberg also summarized the core experiences of NDEs and detailed the progress of the soul/consciousness after someone dies (and does not come back).

The remainder the program featured Open Lines with some callers phoning in from the Gulf Coast with reports on Hurricane Ike, and several sharing their own near death and out-of-body experiences.
