2008 & Compatible Numbers

About the show

Numerologist Glynis McCants offered a forecast of what's in store for 2008, reviewed her past comments about 2007, and spoke about number compatibilities. We are entering a "1" year (2 + 0 + 0 + 8 = 10 = 1). "I'm excited about this year," she said, noting it's a year of change, with revelations of what people are doing. In a "1" year, you are encouraged to step up, and motivated or ambitious people can do quite well, she said. However, the Earth's climate will become even more out of whack this year, she added.

McCants on Election '08: As far as the political candidates go, Hillary Clinton is in a "personal year" of "1" and looks to be the strongest Democratic candidate, though Obama, a "2" lifepath, will be able to wow audiences. On the Republican side, McCain and Giuliani look the strongest, though Ron Paul might decide to run as an Independent.

There are natural combinations of lifepath numbers that go together, she detailed: 1-5-7, 2-4-8, and 3-6-9. Some combinations can be "toxic," such as 1 and 8-- An "8" can be very opinionated, whereas a "1" doesn't want to hear it. To determine your lifepath number, see this page. Glynis also announced her new Natural Match Calendar for 2008, which can help people choose the best days to schedule events.

Asteroid Update

First hour guest, Planetary Scientist Dan Durda offered an update on an asteroid hitting Mars later this month-- the odds of the impact have dropped down to 1 in 10,000. He also spoke about how a spacecraft could be used as a "gravity tractor" to alter the orbit of incoming asteroids.
