Inspired by the story of Doctor Faustus, George offered a special line for callers who would sell their souls for a wish. One caller said he would sell his soul if he could go back in time to say goodbye to his father who died last July.

A woman from Las Vegas, who believed God no longer heard her prayers, told George she made a deal with the devil to save her and her mother's failing restaurant business. After coming to her senses, she broke her arrangement with Satan and warned others to avoid putting themselves in a similar situation.

Another caller said he would be willing to sell his soul for (a sports car and) empirical and persistent evidence that a soul actually exists, so everyone in world could know for certain.

Merchant's House Seance

In the first hour, paranormal investigator Dom Villella shared details from some of his investigations, including his first ever seance held earlier today at the Merchant's House Museum in Manhattan. According to Villella, his group attempted unsuccessfully to make contact with the spirit of Gertrude Tredwell, one of the original owners of the house. The medium did however hit on three or four people that were connected to the building over the last hundred years, Villella said.
