Bigfoot & Other Creatures

About the show

Cryptozoologist Loren Coleman discussed the Malaysian Bigfoot search, an Argentina Lake Monster case and other unusual creature sightings. Vincent Chow, a Malaysian cryptozoologist reportedly has photographs of a Bigfoot creature but is not ready to release them yet, said Coleman. Peter Loh's drawings are based on the descriptions of the creatures, which are said to have faces that are somewhere between a gorilla and a human. We're "really in the vortex of a discovery that could shake us all up," Coleman commented.

He offered analysis of the Mount Hood photo recently taken by a remote camera that is purported by some to be a Bigfoot. The hair color is different than a deer's, and though it resembles the tail of a horse, it doesn't quite match that either, he noted. There have been recent "mystery cat" sightings in Ohio and Coleman speculated that there could be a breed of large tiger-like animals left over from the Ice Age.

Photos of a "lake monster" in Argentina surfaced after they were anonymously dropped off at a newspaper office. While there have long been reports of a creature seen at Lake Nahuel Huapi, Coleman conjectured that the current images might be a toy placed in the water, as the creature looked somewhat "inflexible." He also discussed sightings of Thunderbirds which have occurred over the years in Illinois. One bird was said to have a "terrifying screech" like that of a "400-lb. mouse."
