Bed Bugs

About the show

Inspired by the recent liberation of "the cricket," George opened a special hotline devoted to people with strange insect stories. A caller from Texas described seeing a tarantula on her bathroom floor. She initially thought the spider was one of her cat's rubber toys... until it began moving.

Another caller said he and his wife purchased a home and designated one of the bedrooms for their deceased daughter. According to him, hundreds of ladybugs would gather in the daughter's room and, even after removing them, they returned two days later.

Emily from Pensacola recounted the time she had a premonition involving a cockroach while watching TV with a friend. As soon as the vision ended, a roach crawled out from underneath the couch and walked across the living room floor. Emily believes she had a brief psychic connection with the bug.

Mount St. Helens Update

First hour guest, volcanologist R.B. Trombley took calls and discussed the atest eruption of Mount St. Helens. Trombley successfully predicted the eruption, which he described as a mere "hiccup." Seismic activity initially dropped off after the eruption but has since started again. Trombley said the volcano is re-pressurizing for another eruption, perhaps in the next 2-3 days.
