In 1969, five years after The Twilight Zone, creator-host Rod Serling introduced TV audiences to Night Gallery. Set in a mysterious museum, Serling prefaced each week's spine-chilling tale by unveiling a dark, sometimes bizarre, painting. A portrait was painted by Jaroslav Gebr for one of the pilot episode stories called "Eyes," about a rich blind woman who goes to extreme lengths in order to see.
