Future 'Wild Card' Scenarios

About the show

"The world is changing," said futurist John L. Petersen in his appearance on Tuesday night's show. "If we don't figure out how to deal with [our] problems in new ways, then they're going to run over the top of us," he cautioned. Petersen went on to discuss quantum computing, time travel, nanotechnology, rapid climate change, melting of the polar ice caps, and other possibilities that would vastly alter our daily experience.

Despite the scenarios, our future doesn't have to be grim. Petersen believes, "If we learn how to adjust to and adapt to these kinds of things, it could precipitate a whole new kind of world--a whole new way of living."

Open Lines

Open Lines in the first hour of the show featured many great calls. Perhaps most notable was the tale of one man who discovered giant turtle shells buried deep in the ground that measured twelve feet in diameter. That's a big turtle! Later, a young man described an incident where he and his friends "lost time" during a road trip. And later still, Crystal from Detroit wanted to learn how to develop her newly emerging clairvoyant powers. George recommended visiting visionaryliving.com.
