Kathleen O'Keefe-Kanavos was born to a military family, raised in Europe, graduated from Munich International High School in Germany, has a degree in Special Education from Keene Teacher’s College in Keene, NH, taught Special Education for 10 years and Psychology at the University of South Florida.
She is a two-time breast cancer survivor, author, inspirational speaker, phone counselor for R.A. BLOCH Cancer Foundation, and a mentor for WE CAN- a self-help group. She contributes to CapeWomenOnlineMagazine, Twitter’s C4Women, Colette Baron-Reid’s Intuition Now, Examiner.com National-TheGuidedPath, and is a member of the International REIKI Association’s blog and website. She also participates in blogs for ACOR (Association of Cancer Online Resources), NBCC (National Breast Cancer Coalition), and the USA TODAY Community Blog. Kathleen speaks to doctors and cancer groups worldwide on the importance of dreams as a tool for life.
