The Captured Alien Line

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

Friday Night Open Lines was punctuated by a special topic hotline, inviting those who have captured an alien or alien craft to call in. It's 4ft. tall, red, and has black eyes and sharp teeth, a Pennsylvania caller said of the creature he was keeping in a large dog cage.

Bob from Georgia revealed he was keeping a small diamond-shaped sphere in his garage. He found the glowing green metallic object in a creek. But the most curious call came from a 37-year old woman who believed aliens were living in her attic and were controlling her father's mind. Not only do they take things from the house, but also leave gifts such as "weird looking stones," she said.

In a more ghostly vein, Dave of Salt Lake City, told an uncanny story of coming home and sensing an evil presence. Just then, his friend called and said "you are not alone." Later, Barbara described a bizarre incident, when she witnessed a strange man's voice coming out of her sleeping Mother's mouth.

Earthquake Update

There is a seismic window between now and July 17th said geologist Jim Berkland when he appeared on the first hour of Friday's show. During this time he predicts a likely quake of at least 7.0 to occur, probably in the Pacific Ring of Fire. George commented that he had been receiving an unusual number of messages from people who sense something is coming.

Berkland derives his forecasts by correlating rises in missing pet reports, along with tide and moon positions. Why would pets disappear a few days before a quake? "The main reason is the shift in the magnetic field," he said, theorizing that magnetite in the body may relate to the ability to navigate. Berkland also noted some rare whale beachings occurred just before the 1989 Loma Prieta quake.
