As part of a remarkable project underway in Ireland, a man has been buried alive and is 'broadcasting' from the grave.
John Edwards was laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon inside of a specially-designed coffin that allows him to not only survive underground but also communicate with the outside world via the internet.
Over the next three days, the former drug addict who has been sober for over twenty years, will provide advice and insight to people struggling with addiction and depression.
The overarching idea, he says, is that these troubles are not a 'death sentence' and that there is always help out there, even in the unlikeliest of places.
While enduring his three-day residency in the grave, Edwards will survive on supplies contained inside the oversized coffin and will be able to breathe thanks to giant tubes which supply him with fresh air.
He plans to talk to as many people as possible from 'beyond the grave' either through live broadcasts or by answering questions he receives via social media.
Those looking to contact Edwards or simply check in on how he is doing down there can tune in to his live stream dubbed the 'Grave Chat.'
