Galaxy 'Far, Far Away' Discovered

Peering back to nearly the beginning of the universe, a team of astronomers have found the most ancient and distant galaxy yet. The newly discovered formation is a stunning 13.1 billion light years away from the Earth. Due to the nature of light years, observations of the galaxy provide a glimpse into the distant past of the universe, when the Big Bang event had only taken place a mere 700 million years beforehand.
