Boston Dynamics' latest technological creation appears to have stepped right out of the Terminator movie series. The 6-foot tall humanoid robot, dubbed Atlas, can navigate trip hazards, remain upright when struck by a 20-lb weight and, judging from robotic predecessor Petman, moves in ways eerily similar to a human being. Atlas is being developed as part of DARPA's challenge to create robots capable of assisting in disaster situations. More from Fast Company.
