Anomaly Hunter Spots 'Bowl' on Mars

By Tim Binnall

An anomaly hunter studying NASA images of Mars spotted what he believes to be the remnants of a bowl resting on the surface of the Red Planet. Much like several other curious possible artifacts found on Mars in recent years, this potential discovery came by way of indefatigable UFO researcher Scott C. Waring, who noticed the oddity in a photo taken by the Curiosity Rover back in 2013.

The intriguing circular object, he opined, appears to be some kind of ancient bowl that has been destroyed over the course of time. Reflecting on the find, Waring mused that the anomaly is "100% proof" that an advanced civilization once resided on the Red Planet. The researcher even postulated that one can see "finger push marks" on the side of the potential bowl, which presumably would mean that it was hand-crafted by artisan Martians.

While Waring may see a bowl on the ground in the image of Mars, the unique shape of the anomaly is certainly open to interpretation as other observers could easily argue for more fantastic conclusions such as that the object is a ring or perhaps even a crown that once belonged to the ruler of the Red Planet. Meanwhile, skeptics will undoubtedly say that the 'anomaly' is, in fact, simply a rock made to appear out of the ordinary by way of the pareidolia phenomenon.
